OVER IN THE MEADOW for 6s and 7s

Service Description

July 31- August 4, 2023 9:00am - 2:00pm The littles will love bringing to life baby animals as they learn a song, share a story and create crafts for all of the little animals in the beloved children's song, "Over in the Meadow." We will learn about habitats and animal behavior. Children will sing, move, handclap and create an illustrated puzzle book. On Friday, family and friends will be invited to join the last 30 minutes and share in our week's work. Our small group session and theme is perfect for young adventurers preparing for first and second grade. SCHOOL BREAK ADVENTURES at Space & Grace Learning offer a wholistic approach to child development. Your child will experience a wealth of social games, imagination building activities and openings for individual creative expression. Each day helps your child grow and develop through age appropriate activities. Each day is a balance of activity and rest. Each day is full of curiosity and fun! 💕 9:00am-12:00pm Activities devoted to the theme of the week and snack. 12:00pm -1:30pm Nature walk and visit to Sewallcrest Park for lunch and free play. 1:30-2:00pm Quiet Rest and read aloud on the cozy front porch. Maximum Class Size: 8 Minimum Class Size: 4 We will be outdoors all day. Pack appropriate gear for the weather (sunscreen, rain gear, extra socks, etc), water bottle, hearty snack, and lunch in an over the shoulders pack. A complete registration form and payment invoice will be sent once you register for your Adventure. Discounts for multiple family members and multiple weeks attended. Safety protocols will follow CDC and Portland Public School recommendations.
