Service Description

July 11 - July 15 8:30am - 2:00 pm Bringing the Rain to Kapiti Plain is a rhythmic folktale from the Nandi People in Kenya. Children will recite the lively poem while exploring what happens to the herders and people when the rains won't come. We will create colorful bigger than life masks and retell the story for friends and family on the last day of camp. Summer Adventures at Space & Grace Learning offer a wholistic approach to child development. Your child will experience a wealth of social games, imagination building activities and openings for individual creative expression. Each day helps your child grow and develop through age appropriate activities. Each day is a balance of activity and rest. Each day is full of fun! 💕 8:30am-11:30pm Activities devoted to the theme of the week and snack. 11:30am -2:00pm Walk to Laurelhurst Park for lunch and free play. Maximum Class Size: 8 Minimum Class Size: 4 We will be outdoors all day. Pack appropriate gear for the weather (sunscreen, rain gear, extra socks, etc), water bottle, hearty snack, and lunch in an over the shoulders pack. A complete registration form and payment invoice will be sent once you register for the Adventure. Discounts for multiple family members and multiple weeks attended. Safety protocols will follow CDC and Portland Public School recommendations.

Cancellation Policy

We know life gets busy. Please try to give us as much advance notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Your unused payment can be applied to future sessions. Please call to schedule appointments that are within 24 hours.
